BadChad:

Yeah its pretty much the the fronts that need rescanning. Be careful with the Dragon Fighter cover as I noticed the art got pretty trimed near the bottom of box. I remember there beeing a space between the bottom of his foot and the bottom of the box. Good luck!

The Terra Cresta cover should be good to go in just a few!

WolfAlmighty:

Hmm...I wonder if I trimmed it because of the crease at the bottom of the box or something.  I must have had a reason to trim it, but I'll double check when I get home.

BadChad:

Got one more up for ya Wolf. Just added Monster Truck Rally.

WolfAlmighty:

Both look great, cheers!  :D

If you need me to help with any of the rest I sent, just get me the raws and I'll do what I can.  I'll see what I can do regarding re-scanning my others tonight.

Edit:

Well, I got sharper scans, but unfortunately they REALLY bring out the moiré effect as well:

So pick your poison, I suppose. :(  Maybe they look fine when printed out?

Also, on the Monster Truck Rally cover, did you re-type the text on the back?  The word 'hill' on the fifth line of the second paragraph isn't capitalised so I wasn't sure if that was a mistake in the original cover or not. Looks like there should be a colon after 'events' instead of a period.

WolfAlmighty:

Okay, so here's my stab at Burai Fighter.  The first one is the normal one:

And the second is the same thing but with a very slight Gaussian blur filter applied to smooth out the moiré effect:

It seems to get rid of the moiré just fine, but does it make the image too blurry to be useful?  The raws don't seem to have any blur on them as I was able to make the box nice and flat against the platen prior to scanning, so any blurring you see would be the result of the filter. I'm still hoping there's some way I can make my current scanner work for this! :D
