Since I'm very familiar with Zelda and Zelda 2 I knew exactly where the screenshots came from so I just go there in the game itself (using FCEUltra). I usually get screenshots of the sprites I need for the enemies/townsfolk, turn off the sprite layer, take a shot of the background (or in Zelda 1's case just kill off all the enemies and put Link in the right position and pose), then use that as a canvas and put all the enemies into their proper positions using the sprites I captured earlier with just copy/paste. |

It was a level they cut out or something. I would love to do a true retail for this one :) |

It appears as though the first two screenshots were from an earlier build of the game (notice that the status bar on them does not tell you what world you're in), and indeed #2 is from a level that doesn't exist in the final game although it looks like a spot in 1-2 only with flying beetles instead of those winged Goombas. I'm confused what you're looking for, though...do you need these screenshots replicated or are you looking for entirely new ones? |
