It took me just as long to redo the screen shots as it did to make the whole cover. @Everyone Thank you for the praise :) |

--- Quote from: shenske on July 27, 2012, 09:33:28 AM ---Thr screen shots were from a new box scan. I was trying to find better screen shots from an emulator but wasnt having a great amount of luck finding the correct shot. When I find tge correct screen shot ill replace them. True retail spines were never really my thing but ill see what I can do. :) --- End quote --- Nothing really wrong the quality of the screens. Just a bit of dust and dirt left behind. And yeah, I pretty much just stick with the custom spines myself (probably would have went full retail had they been around when I first started tho). I just figure its good habbit to get into since we take the time to make the cover, and it would be much easier to make a retail spine to go with it at the time rather than having someone els edit the existing to cover to make one themselves. Plus you can pretty much check that game off the list because both retail and custom covers are done. Thats pretty much why I always make vertical covers to go with my retails SNES covers even tho I dont use them. |

Hey guys, I decided to take a stab at a few covers myself. I'm not a huge photoshop wizard (as clearly it shows), but I thought I'd try to make some covers for a few games that I needed covers for. These are my first two covers that I've attempted: Here they are: Crash N The Boys: http://www.mediafire.com/?4nsw9ede5rvhvaj Skate Or Die 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?7hw4v5d1x0jap4n The Skate or Die 2 scans I was working with weren't the greatest, so I did the best I could. I realize they probably don't meet the sites current standards, but I figured I'd share regardless. :) Anybody can feel free to take a stab at "sprucing" them up if they feel like it. I know the screenshots are a bit grainy... I have a new found respect for what you guys do! This photoshop stuff is time consuming!! :) -Sneak |

The pics I made (obviously) use the one from the NES/Famicom version. Edit: It also uses Zora's sprite from the FDS, which is different than that of the NES/Famicom version. Lazy bums couldn't even take genuine screenshots for their own box! ;D |
