Oh, fantastic!  Been waiting for Flying Dragon at least.  Cheers, BadChad!

BTW Chad, I think I read that you're in Canada, correct?  I've got three (four soon) scannable NES boxes that we don't have covers for but I have no way of scanning them.  I don't have a scanner myself and the one at my workplace is black and white only.  I was hoping I could send them to someone here and have them scan them but as I'm in the US I was looking for someone stateside.  I was going to ask if I could send them to you but if you're in Canada shipping might be kind of pricey.

Yeah, I live in Ontario, Canada. Just out of curiosity what are the games you have boxes for?

Right now I have Krion Conquest, Super Spy Hunter (I think I saw the cover for this one floating around but I can't find it anymore...I know we have the PAL version), Terra Cresta, and I have Best of the Best Championship Karate on the way.  Krion Conquest isn't the complete box as the bottom and top flaps have been removed (I think it was a former rental) but since we don't use those in cover creation anyway it shouldn't matter.  Personally I only collect carts and manuals so I have no need for the boxes but there were some lots on ebay where the boxes were basically thrown in for free with the other two components so I picked them up.  I'd considered picking up a few of the other cheaper CIBs that don't have covers made just so they could be scanned in but again as I don't have any way of scanning them I haven't.

Ok so I gave it a first try for Battle Kid.

All I see are my flaws, not sure its up to the standards of the site.... but if someone can correct it and perhaps make it site worthy, Id be all for it.

That looks great, but two minor gripes:

The barcode. Why put a barcode on this? Battle Kid has no barcode and it just looks out of place. Get rid of that and the cover will look much better.

The Nintendo Seal of Quality shouldn't be there. Battle Kid is a fantastic game, but Nintendo didn't approve of it. If anything it should have Retrozone's Seal (as in the animal) of Quality.

I agree. I'll be using that one as the cover is the v1.1 cover. (Basically a newer label than the old v1.0 which mine is of)

Does mine meet the quality standards?

Unfortunately no.

Altough the covers is 300 DPI, raw material you used was too low quality.
