I noticed many of the NES covers are going back to its original spine. So, I'd figured to help you out with Gyruss. It wasn't easy, but I hope this is good enough.

Meant to upload this one for everyone a long time ago. Completely redid the front of the cover from scratch using the one on the site as a template.

I wasn't sure what thread to post this in, but it's NES related, so I figured I'd ask here.

I noticed on the site, in the NES section, there is a Game Genie cover available.

At quick glance, I'm wondering, how do others fit their Game Genie in a UGC case?  I just looked at them side by side, and I don't think it will fit, even with all the 'inner tabs' (in the UGC) removed..

I figure since there is a cover, and 432 people have downloaded it (according to the stats), that somebody could possibly lend some insight?

Thanks in advance!  And keep the NES covers coming guys!!  I always love seeing new ones of those pop up.

I'd say only way to fit it in to UGC is to separate the cart part and the "handle" from each other.
You only have to unscrew 2 screws, if I remember correctly.

Awesome black label covers Brandonh1091.  The only black labels missing (now) are stack up and wild gunman, then the entire list is complete.  I like the idea of recreating the black labels, being that it's been a project I've been trying to get people to help on.  ;D LOL

I'm all for the black label serie, altough I prefer the European "less pixelated" versions.

Yeah I agree - the European/Hong Kong versions with the actual art are much more appealing. Every now and then, Europe gets the best box art.

Hope you also redid other things besides the front this time. Actually when I checked your Balloon Fight cover the front was nice but everything else wasn't really better than the version we allready have on our site and in my eyes it didn't suffice to replace the old one.

Actually the front on the old BF cover is pretty nice too isn't it?

...Actually I redid the entire cover from scratch. It was a good bit more than just "cleaning up the front". The only thing I didn't replace on the Balloon Fight cover were the screenshots. Everything thing else was made from the ground up. Text was retyped, seals/logos were replaced with hi-res ones, etc. The cover already on the site looks well enough however the front looks grainy and fuzzy. I completely redrew the cover art pixel by pixel, so in my opinion it's a huge improvement.

Wicked sweet Wild Gunman.  The one I had images to were sub-par and wouldn't get the job done.

Now all that is left for the NES NTSC Black Label Series is Stack Up!  :o
