I've uploaded some raw NES scans off two games I luckily found complete in a second hand shop in austria!

I haven't got the time at the moment to turn them into covers(too many other covers/collection stuff to do).... I uploaded them in 600dpi and straightened as possible....

Maybe someone has the ambition to clean and fix them.... :)

tiktektak, can you read German? If so could you please write up a translation of the discription of BoulderDash? I would be interested in making an English version edit if you could, as its unlikely that an NTSC box will show up anytime soon. Thanks.

I would have never imagined Boulder Dash had a refined story but the back of the box is a good read :) Here it is:

"The famous researcher Stoneford bequeathed a mysterious map of an unsolved mystery to his son Rockford. The mystery of the "six diamond worlds". It is written that the holder of all jewels from the labyrinths will be immeasureably rich. Rockford sets off to explore the seemingly impervious caves of the Boulder Dash world. Hideous monsters and strange, mutated creatures guard the diamonds. You have to help brave Rockford to collect all the jewels and find his way out of the caves. Prepare for a special adventure which requires courage and dexterity. If you share these traits, if you're fortunate at the right moments, you will become the Diamond King.  Rockford needs your support exploring the six magic worlds of
BOULDER DASH
Do you accept the challenge to help him?"

Thanks a ton Kaiser.

Hey Lumberjack, since eightcell seems to have fallen off the face of the planet, would you be interested in continuing his work on the Megaman covers? I don't have the skill nor the resources to do so myself, but I would like it very much if you could carry the torch onward. Check this thread way back in page 3-4 for info, but the basic idea was to completely redo the boxarts for the six Megaman games using the vastly superior art from the Japanese Playstation Exlcusive Rockman Complete Works covers over the Original NES boxes in which Megaman takea completely different look each successive game and only vaugly resembles the same character in the end. In additon, the project is to clean up the box discriptions of each game to better reflect the plot of each game and bring forth the best boxart for a Megaman game possible. Eightcell had agreed to incoperate my discriptions, so I went to work long and hard creating actually good game discriptions and give me small amount of credit for each re-write. I hope you'll agree to use them as well. Just for convience, I'll repost all six.

I found a couple of decent quality scans on a site. The only bitch was he/she watermarked them, so I had to clean that up too. The best thing is that he/she has several Disk System complete covers with no watermark and they're 300dpi.
