The Startropics letter makes me think of the Metal Gear Solid Meryl code.

Then I shake my head cause most custom covers made for Metal Gear doesn't include that screenshot on the back

Did you read my post akumu?

I'll make a cover posting spree this weekend but I'm not really too hot about downloading all your recent covers one by one. ;)

Akumu can you upload on mediafire Mighty Final Fight cover.
I've saw that you've made one some time ago (http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=3394.0)

WOW that batman and battletoads look waaaay better than the ones i am currently using. I think i spend more money on reprinting covers than buying the actual games themselves.
HERE ARE MY RAW COVER SCANS

lol I feel you there, mate.  I'm almost dreading watching akumu revamp all these covers because then I'll have this OCD urge to reprint all the ones he fixes.  Thankfully I don't have Battletoads so obviously no need to reprint, but Batman I do so there goes a bunch of black ink and a sheet of glossy photo paper.  ;D

Maybe one fix you could do to all Mega Man games is blue spines WITH MATCHING blue color.

We already have:
http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=4693
Available for all 6 NES games.

But yeah more colorfull version would be nice.
Or one uniform set spine spanning  all games from NES MM 1-6 to SNES MM7, MMX 1-3, M&B and MM Soccer.
And ofcourse you can go nuts and make one set spanning those games and Genesis Mega Man, and all portable Mega Men as well as NGC, PS1, PS2 and Xbox games.
All stored in DVD covers (maybe slim cases for portable games) in a nice box with HQ art work.
