You are not alone..... I am here with you.... ;D Talking of songs.....

As for the NES art you provided I just can't thank you enough.... The only problem with same covers redone is that I can only post them if the really differ from the covers allready posted for a game.... If they're just with a little different color or something like that I can add them only if they are from a different region then the covers allready posted for that game.... Thanks for your understanding....

Regards Sebastian

The only one that falls under that category is Castlevania. Bases Loaded 3, Defenders of Dynotron City and The Guardian Legend were ones that didn't have the spine logo that you, satoshi, eightcell and I have been using lately. I've been going through the catalog and re-doing the ones that have no uniform spine logo. If I need to, I'll stop.

Hey Lumberjack, would you be interested in creating Famicom covers as well? Maybe I'm alone on this one, but I collect Famicom games almost as devotedly as NES, but Famicom covers are a whollllllllllllllllllle lot more difficult to come across. I have a few, but the first thing that would need to be done is to create a Famicom template for use. Would you (or anyone who reads this) be interested in this endevour?

If you can get me raw scans I'll see what I can do.

I did just find some US gems at a chain here in Oklahoma called Vintage Stock that I'm going to scan. I've got Rad Racer II, Punch-out (sans Mike Tyson), Empire Strikes Back, Nightshade and Thunderbirds. Some of them are going to require some cleanup, but I think I'm up to the task.

BTW - how many posts do you need to get past Newbie level?

50 I think. Don't worry about your post count too much; it really doesn't mean anything. I have a feeling that sooner or later you'll become a cover guru as I am. You've already upped more covers than I think i have in my total time here! lol I better catch up  ;)

I'm in Tulsa. Vintage Stock is kind of a catch all store. They have Games, DVD's, CD's, Comics, Toys, Posters and Collectible Cards. There are two  in Tulsa, one in Broken Arrow and one in Owasso. I go there instead of Game Exchange because they are asses when it comes to getting cartridge games WITH the boxes.

Now here's something different. I thought, "Hey, I wonder why they didn't make the Legend Of Zelda cover like all of the other early NES boxes?" So I made one.

The problem I have with Games Exchange (or the one in Norman) is that they display a lot of their games by the windows. They have many rare games at decent prices, but most of the artwork on the cover insert or box is FADED!!!

Nicely done Zeldas, but I still prefer the original covers to these. Could you do a Famicom Disk System version? Now those cases looked good!

If you could get me raw scans I would love to give it a shot.

Those Zelda covers were a bitch, I had to build the sprites by hand since there are no good-quality large-size sprites on the net.

I'm glad you like them.
