In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

This came in today, one of my childhood favorites. Been meaning to pick this one up for a while but could never find one with a box that didnt have stickers on it. Finally found one that didnt have any stickers (sorta) but still had some brownish sticker residue from a past sticker but not damage to the box. That was fun to clean up..... ;)

All covers for the NES "starry" boxes mainly uses "Helvetica."
For example, the main title would be Helvetica Black.

If you don't want to pony up ~$30 per type(!), try abusing the font preview generator by copying the preview and use photoshop to sharpen them up!

I think Arial Black should work too.

Cool, helvetica worked great!  I replaced the old covers on the site with my vector versions.
You can find them here http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?game_id=2983

@Arseen: wao i didnt know this game was so expensive for an NES game, but guess it's not too expensive since i'm used to collect Neo Geo AES cartridges.

I was scanning a bunch of nes boxes today and ran across this game. I don't know if it's too late, but you're welcome to these.

Finally this cover for Metal Storm looks as it should be site-worthy.

Such a classic. I remember spending hours and hours playing this game and drooling over the incredibly cool model kit that my parents wouldn't buy for me because it was something like $90 and I would have broken it right away. They were still probably right, but damn was Metal Storm a favorite. That and Vice Project Doom.

Do I sense a future review?  ;) Metal Storm is definetly a classic, I remember playing this alot myself when I had it when I was younger. The ability to effortlessly flip to the ceiling was a unique feature never seen anywhere els. Still need to pick this one up sometime. At least now when I do pick it up, we have a cover to go with it! ;D

Id love to get my hands on Vice scans too. I pretty much already have most of the box recreated from scratch. Just need some HQ art for the front. I might be able to whip up a custom cover with some art from one of my nintendo power mag's I have that covered Vice.
