Hey there Existy ..... can you check if your cases are cropped? I am getting them ready for the site and noticed the bottom is cropped. It may be the original is cropped like that in which case that's fine ....no worries. If they aren't any chance of rescanning them so the whole thing is there?. No hassles if you cant ..... I'm uploading them anyway. But always nice if we can get the whole thig preserved...

Cheers

Yeah, I just tried that, but my scanner always auto-crops is (even when the feature is disabled). I'll try againt tomorrow and see if I can fiddle around with it (The scanner is about 3 years old).

Don't worry .... it turns out it was only one NHL scan. Is anybody gonna notice? If you want to by all means though  :)

Perhaps it was different for Europe or even the US, but I recall that Canadian Genesis games all came in hard plastic cases with sleeves, seperating them from the cardboard boxes Nintendo used for the SNES. Whats the point of putting them in Universal Media Cases when they are already in cases?

Another thing is that despite the cartridges being kept in hardcases those cases are now looking not good anymore... They may be functional but almost any I buy used are either without the box or complete but with a dirty and worn box.... They're around 15 years after all... Time for a new home for the carts... :)

Not all the US Genesis games were released in hardcases. Toward the end of the Genesis life cycle, Sega started releasing the games in cardboard boxes.

Exactly. My copy of X-Men 2: Clone Wars came in a crappy cardboard box (with a friggin black & white photo copy manual!). I've also got a few loose carts, so I'll be happy to convert my entire collection to the Universal Game Cases.

I just bought Primal Rage, too bad it came in those stupid carboard boxes.

I'll work on the Universal conversion sometime this week.
