This is agonizing.
I always convince myself that there's no need to buy repro's because they're expensive and I lost my save on my Earthbound repro
RIP Save.
But then I see these beautiful covers and then instantly want the games. I might buy the famicom versions...
The price of reproductions are going down due to competition and cheaper chips. The cheapest I found is $35 a game. With that price, plus a "christmas sale" I was able to get
1.Violinist of Hamelin - $28
2.Pop'n Twinbee - $28
3.Do-Re-Mi Fantasy - $28
4.Hourai High School - $28
5.CT Prophets Guile - $39
6.Oh No! More Zombies Ate My Neighbors - $28
7.Clocker Tower - $28
Grand Total - $207
Money Saved - $51
The repro scene has been evolving at a very fast speed. Painted Carts, Repro Boxes and Manuals, Holographic Labels, New Cheaper kinds of Chips, and now the new thing is putting up to 4 different games of your choice into one cartridge.
