SNES resolution was actually designed to be horizontally stretched. Otherwise it wouldn't fill your TV screen. Those screen-shots were likely just taken from an emulator.

Awesome job with that Emerald Dragon cover  8)

Does anyone here know if that game is fully playable as a repro?  I'm thinking of getting it, but don't want to risk it in case it crashes halfway through or something.

Probably. I'm guessing they were, but I'm unsure, since someone else provided me with the screenshots for that one.

Anyway, while I've got time to actually finish some covers that have been stuck in the queue of things to do, yet another is done.

Download here.

Matching label.

Thank you~ I hear you on the repro. I'm not certain myself, since I haven't had it made yet, for this particular reason.

Checked out a video of this. Gameplay looks choppy. Do you have an original copy of did you get a repro done? I wouldnt mind trying a rom if theres one around.

Yeah the gameplay isn't fantastic, about as good as the first SFII for SNES, with some additional graphical glitches. I don't have a cart copy of it, just emulated it.  Not sure if I want to pay to get a repro made.  It's a bit of a cool oddity, but that's about it.

Yeah, I just gave her a go. Waaaayyy too choppy to spend money on a repro. Would of been pretty cool if it were smoother.

I almost considered getting it, but the thing that bugs me the most about it is that glitch where Ice Man disappears during his kick.

I just got the SFC Dragon Quest games and noticed that nobody has made a DQ 3 cover (unless I missed it.) If anyone is interested, I have some raw scans of the box art, but the site uploads are down at the moment. If anyone wants it let me know and I'll email it to you. I'll probably make one myself when I get some time, but that could take several weeks.

I started working on this, but I am away from home for a few days, and have yet to finish it.

How good is Emerald Dragon and what other SNES RPG it resembles the most?

Peach Waffles, do you have raw scans of Dragon Quest I.II? I'd quite like to put together a cover for myself using my own template.

Not anymore, I'm afraid. But here is what I used when I made the cover.

Thats a good source for scans from time-to-time (mostly PAL). I suggest to anyone to take a look through what they have every once in a while.
