Yeah, I'm having some trouble finding decent artwork to use for 5, artwork that hasn't already been used anyway.

You should check Peach Waffles' box.net, she's got a really cool FFV cover in there that I don't think was posted in this thread.

I'm at the moment using the second one of her covers, but yours are bit nicer. Sorry PW  ;D

So if you happen to find nice art that matches the your FFVI and your first FFIV art in style, please do make cover. And matching labels could be nice!

Yeah I'll do labels for sure, and I'll be on the lookout for any nice FFV art.

Here's FFV, it's the only neat artwork I could find, I know the style doesn't really match the covers on 4 and 6, but it's still pretty cool I think.

Jup absolutely right. We have more FF covers on our site and in box.nets accounts of people than anything else.

I sometimes too think that people should rather invest their time in making covers for stuff we don't have but oh well everyone can do what he wants to do! ;)

Yeah I'm not complaining, they do look fantastic, but there are lots of other franchises that need love too

I'm not sure if 'If...' is even translated. Not sure... As for the other two, I had been working on covers for them, but ran into too many snags. :(

I and II are translated but apparently the translations are terribly glitchy and barely playable.  >:(

Untrue.  Both SMT I & II are fully playable if you're running the translations on romhacking.net.

Untrue.  Both SMTI & II are fully playable if you're running the translations on romhacking.net.

Have you played them all the way through? I've read on other forums that they become quite glitchy in later parts of the game, some alignment paths and endings are completely unattainable. Moreso in SMT I than II.  I've read enough of these accounts to prevent me from getting them made on repro carts.

In SMT I apparently you have to remove the patch from the rom to get through certain parts or it will just hang.  You also can't buy guns or beat the Law alignment...

I mean it is the internet and it could all be BS, but there seems to be more consensus towards them not working, at least not entirely.

Ive never played these games myself as Im not interested in them but they were both translated by Aeon Genesis which happens to be one of the most respected translation teams and their work is usually of great quality. The bugs people mention could be caused by the emulators their using but I couldnt tell you for certain.

The Romhacking page mentions that there are some bugs for SMT I if played on ZSNES but they go away on Snes9x.
