I just got my shipment of 100 UGC's today, and decided to use an older UGC to cut for an NES game.

I just got done cutting, and while I now have an NES case, it took me about an hour using a razor blade. Is there an easier way to cut these things? I don't own a dremel tool, and really don't want to go out and buy one just to cut seven more cases.

Not only did it take too long, but I also fear that I'm going to cut my finger open doing so.

IThere is a company by the name of Xuron Tools, that makes a set of these that cut things nice and flush.   I have some of their smaller cutters and they leave a very smooth edge.  So if the larger ones do exist..  it might solve the whole melting, razor blade, dremel, rough edges thing.

Got my pair at Lowe's.  I brought in a really old ratty pair that they had, and they sent me right to the new ones.  Easiest thing would probably be to print the picture out or find the actual name of the product

I got a soldering iron/gun at Target for 10 bucks and it comes with a razor attachment. I can do about one every 5 minutes with no distractions, but it as to be outside because of the fumes. Of course with melting you can leave no bumps but may to through the plastic if you aren't careful.

I also have a tutorial I wrote up here...

My dad gave me his old dremel to use, and it kinda just mutilated the plastic instead of allowing me to do it accurately. Anyone have tips for dremel use?

If all else fails, I'll just get one of those pliers :).
