A friend of mine just suggested this.  Basically making one cover for multiple games in the same series for multi-disc cases.  This'll be useful for those that want to save space.

For example:

Having 'Mega Man Legends', 'Mega Man Legends 2', and 'Misadventures of Tron Bonne' in the same case and making a 'Mega Man Legends Trilogy' cover for it.  Same can be done for a lot of series.  Like Devil May Cry, Mega Man X4-X6, Resident Evil 1-3.  You can probably even cross systems and do stuff like Resident Evil 1-4.  I'll try my hand at the 'Mega Man Legends Trilogy' cover within a week or so.

Those were for boxsets, I'm sure.  Trying to fit the Final Fantasies in one case would require a mile long spine.

Actually their are case's which can fit 6 sometimes even 8 disks, and they're still about the size of one that would fit three. They're called stak pak's, they use them for computer games all the time. Even for the ones that only have one or 2 disks which is just stupid in my opinion.

With the Xbox 360 Live Arcade game covers in mind, a cover for multiple games would be a nice idea for the Wii's Virtual Console games.
Making a cover for every game would be a pain in the ass and I guess during the Wii's lifespan there will be more games for the Virtual Console than actual Wii games. But one cover for multiple games of a series as SMMM suggested would be a killer. Like having one cover for Castlevania 1-3 (NES), Super Castlevania IV and Castlevania Vampire's Kiss (SNES) along with Castlevania 64 and Castlevania Legacy Of Darkness (N64) with a nifty name like Castlevania Anthology or something along those lines. Same for the Mario Series, Probotector, Zelda, Final Fight or whatever they plan to release.
Maybe using a Wii game cover template and modify the spine so that it reads Wii Virtual Console or something like that. I don't know, it's just ideas floating in my mind since they just named a handfull of games to be released via the Virtual Console and nobody really knows what games will be released in the first place. So this is just a (pretty) early thought ;)
