What is the lowest DPI I should scan the cover at?

I tried to upload a cover and it took forever.

Is it my connection or your upload servers that is slow?

Thanks.. :)

1. 300 dpi is our minimum standard. We try to convert everything to 300 dpi when posted. The dimensions for printing assume a 300 dpi .JPG.

2. What is your connection? if you have dialup, then that is probably too slow (I know form my own experience) If you have a high speed connection, then the filesize may be too big. Are these raw scans you are asking aobut or completed covers?
