If there is anyone interested in preservation of development builds, the original Xbox or the famous Steel Battalion games (famous because of the HUGE controller), please check out our project over at the Steel Battalion Online Discord.

We are working to preserve a debug build of the game which may unlock a lot of information for us. The debug file is locked away in a password protected RAR file. The password has been long forgotten, but we are using Hashtopolis/Hashcat to crack the password. Below is a link to a Google doc that explains the story and everything we know about the file.

Our Discord also has lots of information for purchasing, fixing and modifying the SB controllers. We still play every weekend and our community is growing.

Sounds interesting.  I don't own the game, and I doubt that I ever will, but I appreciate that communities like this exist for these unique games.
