ACK! BRE removed the PS2 2-disc cases from their website!!! NOW where can I find them? I had plenty, but with my recent splurge on classic Square PS1 titles, I need more!!!

Hello :)
About the UGC, I read the whole thread but of course, some of the posts are quite old. So, Im also new at this, well not actually. I've been trying to but this from around 3 or 4 years, Im from Chile (South America). But my father lives in Seattle, so, the thing is that I can buy em, but i dont need 100!
Some of the posted links dont sell in units (Like Video Store Shopper, I contact them through email, but they said that only sell for 100 units).

Does anyone knows, WHERE to buy these cases per unit?????
Or anyone knows where to buy em in Seattle or WA?

That would be SO much helpfull!

thank you :)

PS3 cases are clear? Damn, getting those transparent blue cases to replace the clear PS3 cases would be the first thing on my list. PS3 cases already have the worst design of all time, I mean, come on, using the Spider-Man font on your flagship console? That's what I call lame.
Everyone always told me it wasn't the Spider-Man font but I knew it.

This seems as good a place as any.

If there's anyone in Australia after replacement Xbox 360, PSP, PS2 or PS3 cases, over the Easter Long Weekend, shoppingsquare.com.au have cheap shipping on these items.

I ordered 10 each of the 360, PS2 and PS3 cases, which came to $47 including $15 for shipping. Still more expensive than I'd have liked, but cheaper than anywhere else I've found.

When I looked into buying these a few weeks ago, the shipping alone was about $180, which is why I didn't buy them then. So if you want them, I recommend doing so this weekend.

PSP - http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_13961_PSP__PSP_Genuine_UMD_Game_Case

360 - http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_13962_XB3__Game_Case__Green

PS2 - http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_13963_PS2__Game_Case__Blue

PS3 - http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_13755_PS3__Powerwave_Game_Case

Just a quick note. I've bought the Xbox 360 cases before, and they're quite good. Not as good quality as the real cases, but better than the average replacement case you can buy. I haven't bought the PS2 or PS3 cases before today, so I have no idea what they're like. The PS3 ones are made by Powerwave, so they should hopefully be alright. The PSP ones are supposedly genuine cases.

i looked through a few pages here but then stopped because a lot were quite old

I tried mediashelving and they only do cases of 100, i tried videoshopper, and although the site shows individual order numbers and i placed an order for about 30 they called me right back and said they only sell them in packs of 100.

so where can you get these in smaller quantities? I dont need even close to that number. I really only need about 10-20 or so. Its ridiculous to buy 100 for 50 bucks. Anyone? I really want to get some cases for a few of my older snes and genesis games. As well as a couple n64 ones. I bought a few on ebay too that dont have a case. Isnt there anywhere out there that sells them individually or by the dozen or so? 100 is just so many

The links on the first page are dead btw

The only way to get smaller quantities is to find and individual seller. Sometimes you see them pop up on ebay in sets of 10, sometimes somebody here will buy a set and then sell the ones they dont' need back to the community.

damn that really sucks. Honestly i dont get why they dont group them in smaller lots, 100 is way too many. I tried to find out how much it is from the mediashelving site but you have to wait for a quote to find shipping (wtf?)

their price is a bit cheaper than videoshopper. $42 vs $48. but shipping would have been 8 bucks from videoshopper. When the guy called me back he said he could still give me the $8 shipping price if i wanted to get 100, but i said no. Now im wondering if i should have taken that since im worried what they'll charge me for shipping at this other place even though the initial price was cheaper

I checked ebay too but there was only 1 auction up and it had $15 shipping for friggin 10! thats absurd. Its relally hard to search ebay for it since videogame case bring up thousands of unrelated results.  Universal game case brought up a couple

*sigh* pain in the butt. I guess i'll just keep trolling ebay for a dozen or so with reasonable shipping. It really sucks videostoreshopper doesn't sell them in smaller packs. I'm in California like they are. Guess im just SOL

*edit* found that racketboy has some.. or rather had
http://www.racketboy.com/store/featured/universale-game-case.html

anyone know if they will get them in again?

See, the thing is, these places normally sell wholesale to businesses, not individual customers. Wish they would though.

Honestly I'm surprised nobody's tried to make an ebay business just selling small quantities of UGCs to folks. They could turn a profit pretty easily.

The question is if there are really enough people out there in need of UGCs.

After all our community is pretty small and I think that most of the people who use our site do this for DVD case covers not retro.

Has anyone tried these cases before? I am thinking of ordering a large batch since I need them for my GB, GBA, and VB games. They are less expensive than Nintendo sells them for but I wonder if they really are exact replicas.

Those are probably just like the ones that Gamestop uses as replacements. The case demensions are the exact same but the build quality is lower. The spine has a much greater tendancy to break, the plastic is a true black color (instead of a slightly gray tint) and the plastic smells like permanent marker. Personally i'd just go with the ones made my Nintendo but in the end its your call  :)

well after looking around it looks like the pack of 100s the way to go. The only other place i could find sold them for about 3 bucks a pop. hell getting 30 at that price will be about the same as 100 the other way =P

so i had a question to anyone whos used these

I have several dreamcast JP games burned to CDs. I was wondering what kinda CD cases these things hold. Slims, or regular sized ones? If its slims i may just get a bunch of those and store the DC games in the universal cases.

I think it may be better to just use a regular CD case and print the cover art out for it, but im not sure what format this site has the DC game covers in, i'll have to check
