How did you get on with the 3xDVD cases? I have been looking for some plastic cases to store my NES games for a while so I hope it has worked? Did they require any cutting?

i've been going through these threads and i still don't know what to get
i have atari 2600 , nes, snes  games that need cases i can put these fantastic cover sleeves in.
will those universal game cases 100 for $42 on media shelving   fit all those games?  even if i have to cut out some of the tabs .
isn't this better than buying those dvd cases?

All three games should fit, though the NES will need modification. The DVD cases are considered an alternate, and have the advantage of being able to hold manuals correctly, as the UGCs don't have tabs for manuals, and certain manuals are technically too big (though you can still get it in there).

Just a bit of info for future reference.... Those wanting to order the UGC's from Mediashelving, if you live on the east coast, look forward to paying $24 just for shipping. So that's $66 total. Just got an email from them quoting this price. Gonna call Video Store Shopper tomorrow and see what they quote me. Stay posted.

I live in the midwest, and it was $24 shipping for me from Video Store Shopper. I'm okay with it since I've waited so long for UGCs, and this batch will allow me to case my entire collection, plus any other console games I may pick up for a while.

Mediashelving also has them now, too, so it looks like whoever makes them is back up and running.  The entire board did a big sigh of relief on that day.  ;D

I'd personally love to see a scan of the RC Pro Am 2 box.  I have the game, but no cover. :(

Or, alternatively, you could buy the clear ones, and take them someplace to have them professionally painted, while leaving the clear plastic alone. I don't know of any off-hand, but you may want to check with different plastic-making companies and such. Another option would be to carefully remove the overlay, spray the hole case black, and carefully re-attach the overlay with super-glue once its dry.

Just a few thoughts, at the very least. :)
