FAQ: Where can I buy cases?

You can actually get some ds cases for free at gamestop, you just have to ask the person behind the counter for them. you can only get them in qauntitys of 5 or 6, but i got lucky once and they gave me a dozen.

Depends on the Gamestop. I've been to a few that told me they were too short on cases to spare any. And they don't always give you the official Nintendo DS case. I've recieved the cruddy black ones from them. The quality isn't as high as the dark gray that is the official Nintendo one.

most carts will fit into old vhs tape cases which can be got for next to nothing or free, recently i managed to get hold of 29 for free, might need to pad them out though,

also, cds media do 100 ds cases for £19, doesnt look like they come with the outer film though, they do however have slots for both ds and gba carts

as im going to end up needing about 400 i think this is what im going to go for regardless

If those would have that outer film, I'd order those.

I put some on back order, and got an email that stated "another month"

OK i only got £20 so i could only order 50, HOWEVER...



the quality feels ok to me about the same as a normal ds case



slightly thinner than a EU case, but my mario artwork still fitted!??

Great, thickness seems to be same as US DS cases. Actually they look exsactly like US DS cases except the color.

These cases solve a big problem for me thank you.

happy to help you and the rest of the community, sourcing original ds cases would be too expensive for me, so these are the next best thing,

let us know if you get any and what you think of the quality, (which is, after all, down to personal preferance).

Yeah he's telling me week of 12/1 now.

Those clear DS  cases look great! I started casing my handheld games collection using EU DS cases because they are clear like UGCs and can hold GB/GBC with minimal modification (simply clipping 2 tabs), and the booklet clips can hold VB and GG without modification, but I might switch to these at least for my GBA games.

If you just clipped off the tab that holds the bottom of the GBA cart, can a GB/GBC cart fit without modifying the DS cart area? If so, I could switch all my Gameboy games to these cases and use my EU cases for just VB/GG and other unusual carts!

I think those are US DS case sized also inside the case, so also DS cart are has to be modified to fit GB/GBC games.
