I have the same question but for the USA! I checked the link and they are all out.

I've been trying to find cases like those as well. So far the best I've found are 5 disc cases on eBay that have some clips on a center page to hold booklets. I'm not certain, but I believe they were the standard size. I'm not sure if they're still there or not, but I'll see if I can find them again.

Edit: They were easier to find than I thought!

Not sure if you care for cases where the discs are stacked on one center hub, but these are the ones that I primarily use for my PC games.

http://www.meritline.com/14mm-standard-6-disc-dvd-case-black---p-20462.aspx

I was able to fit six discs and a 50+ page manual in one without any trouble. They only come in a minimum case of 50, though.

I was wondering if you guys have found any other sites to buy the BLACK Universal Game Cases. The link that is in the original post doesn't work for me. Actually, it hasn't worked since I've been a member here. I'm in the US, I just really don't want the clear ones.

Also, I heard that these cases might damage cartridges or manuals because of the plastic that it's made out of, or something... Has that happened to anybody here?

Thanks guys!

Well they dont make Black UGC's anymore so your out of luck there. Arseen has a good alternative for black cases using 8 way DVD cases that you could use if you absolutely need black. As for the UGC's damaging your games, they are designed to protect you games not damage them so unless your trowing them around I dont see how they'd damage your games or manuals.

No more black cases?? I was hoping the link may be fixed soon, but I guess not =/ I'm not really a fan of the clear either. So there's nowhere else to get black UCGs besides the now discontinued mediashelving? I can't find any black ones on ebay or google.

Nope, nowhere that i know of. The black cases have slightly different dimensions and the plastic cart holders are more brittle than the clear UGCs.  Its kind of not worth the trouble to try and track any down when you have the ability to get the clear ones. I myself like black cases better but the clear ones still look great.  :)

   Heya all....

My name is Mark and I actually work at The Video Store Shopper. I got an email from a board member here and I thought I would post our info for anyone looking for it.

First our web site is www.shopperinc.com

We make all of our own cases and we market them to video stores, so they are durable and ment for repeated use that normally is associated with rental activity.

We do carry our item #50-755, the Universal Game case. This case holds all cartridge based games AFTER the original NES. We do not carry the original NES cases anymore I am sorry to say, but these can be cut to fit them if you choose.

We also carry a full line of Slim, standard and assorted sizes DVD cases as well. Although we sell them by the case (100), they are still cheaper than purchasing from a retail location.

Just a FYI...thanks

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I heard that the cases were made out of some sort of chemical that, after a long time of keeping things in there, they could chemically discolor cartridges and manuals. Maybe they were the black ones, or something, but I just remember reading that on another forum. I'm guessing that hasn't happened to anyone here?
