ah well if they're in DVD case format i can probably resize them to go on the universal game case.  The only thing that would be much wider would be the spine. Some appear to have cd format options too

the question still stands then: do the universal cases accept slim cases or full sized cd jewel cases? or both?

like i said, i have a few dreamcast JP import burns i made, id like to throw them in something other than just a binder so i was going to either buy regular cd cases and try to print art for them (seems unlikely since the covers are sized more for UGC's) or slap them in a slim case and put that slim case in a UGC and make a label for THAT.

i know the UGC's can hold a CD case of some sort, it says so on the description, but im not sure if it holds the regular ones or slims. does anyone know?

So you're putting games in a case

and then putting the case in a UGC

even though all of our dreamcast games are for the most part in DVD case format

Why not just put them in DVD cases?

because  size wise where i store them it would be better to either leave them in CD cases to stay with the regular DC games, or have them in the UGC since those will be on the other side of them. There are no DVD case sized games near them.

dont question my OCD habits =P I just need to know what type of CD cases the universal game cases hold. Im obviously not the only one doing this since it says they can hold them. So does anyone know if its a slim or regular sized cd case?

might as well ask real quick here too, anyone know a good place to buy regular CD cases, AND the dual and 3/4 disk holder cases used for PS1 games? Im not sure where to snag them online and i have a few games i got online that need to have them replaced.

Something like blue, red or yellow because I already have the Black for my DVD's, Clear for my computer games, clear green for Xbox/360 and white for Wii. so if you have any color than these it would be nice.

Try these sites. Lots of colors and pretty inexspensive.  The first site is based in Canada so that may be a better option for you.

It sure does look like you can buy the UGC from Video Store Shopper for .42 a piece. Can any of you confirm this? I went through the checkout and it looks like you can.

Nope you get a mail afterwards that they only sell in packs of 100.

A yes and how about reading thoroughly through the forums first because this topic has been brought up a gazillion times.

perhaps we should just make a sticky thread (or even update the first post of this one) that outlines this and other important threads for newbies. A FAQ thread?

Way cool, buddy. I totally have a bunch of time to sift through eight pages of stuff. That information isn't even in the OP. Have someone thoroughly update the OP if you want an end to stupid questions.
