Hello all. I am posting because I am just wondering why some of my covers are not approved for the main site. Since the site was fixed, I am attacking my backlog of covers and noticed only a handful have gotten approved. I know the site has a high quality standard, and that my covers are far from perfect, but I have never had problems with the quality of my scans before. I scan them all at 600 DPI and make sure their quality is suitable for printing purposes. Below I have attached the covers I noticed have not been accepted. Thank for the response and input on my covers.

Well that’s strange.
The vast majority of those I definitely haven’t seen in the queue.
A couple seem to have been accepted, but the thumbnails are not there (far Ry for example)
And I specifically remember accepting Borderlands.

All would have been accepted as raw scans.  For future scans, if you have a de screen option in the scan settings it would improve things even further.

Can you re-upload a few of them, and post here.  I am pretty sure they haven’t been rejected.

I have gone ahead and re-uploaded all the Xbox Series X games from above as a sample. Like you said, some of them can be downloaded and not generate a thumbnail. I've noticed for these, the download link only appears when clicking on the title from the [New] tab and not the alphabetical tab (Far Cry for example brings up a link in [New] but not in [F].

I will also look into a scanning software that has a descreen option, as the software I use does not have that feature.

So I noticed that my Series X covers were approved and decided to upload the rest. I did them in batches and after today’s uploads, I see that all but 2 inlays were rejected. Just wondering if the covers are acceptable or not since I was told they’d be accepted

That was me. I was following old quality standards to which none would have been accepted.

Since my recent return I found out that we are accepting these since we no longer have a raw scan section and they can be used as raw scans for others to improve and/or clean.

Bellow are some reasons why these where unacceptable according to the old standards.
- Wrong size and/or DPI
- Pixel scattering specially around text (I recommend you use descreen when scanning, even on raw scans)
- Dirt or speckles of dust thought the cover
- Worn-out sections (specially around the edges of the covers)

No worries, thank you for the clarification! I do try to have high quality scans but don’t have great equipment or a lot of time to touch of the covers. I also like posting on the main site because I know the general public tends to only check the main site and don’t really look through the forums when looking for covers.
