This is a guide on how to *hopefully* get your shiny covers.

GBA/DS covers

For U.S. and Canada

The official Nintendo cases that hold up to 1 DS game and 1 GBA game can be found at http://store.nintendo.com/. To get to the cases, go to Parts, Accessories, and Manuals -> Nintendo DS ->Original Style Nintendo DS ->Parts &
Accessories ->Finally, the fifth from the top is Game Card Case(s). You should be able to figure out how to buy them.

What KaiserWAVE says about Europe’s cases:
“You can get them from the Nintendo Europe homepage. On the German page they're listed under "Consumer Service" and then in the Nintendo DS section as spareparts for 4,50€ for a pack of three… As far as I heard from other people right now Germany and Italy are the only European countries that sell them.”

Game Boy/Game Boy Color

A modification to the case is required to hold GB/GBC games the best. A picture and guide can be found at http://www.snackbar-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8045

KirbyKollector of Snackbar Games on modifying cases:
“Okay, I'm not the best at cutting, and I just cannot slice the DS card-holder part. Maybe I'm using the wrong equipment, I dunno, but for those who also don't want to destroy their cases, why not just set the game on top of the DS Card holding part and close the case? Sure, it bulges just a little, but it still fits on my shelf next to the others. If anyone wants, I'll take a few pics. Just seriously...the cutting isn't entirely necessary.”

Video of me(Doom) putting a GB game in without modification:

If you don’t have any manuals, the GB games should fit without modification.

WarioWare: Twisted!

Here is a guide by daroga to get this huge cart to fit in 2 GBA cases.

Universal Game Cases for N64, Genesis, SNES, etc…

Another case of the U.S. getting things easier. For the U.S., go to
http://www.mediashelving.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=W&Product_Code=USCG&Category_Code=MED.
Make sure to get the “Full Sleeve”. This is VITAL.

I'm not sure if there is anything needed to say about DVD/CD covers.

Hopefully Snowcone is ok with this guide. There is definitely stuff missing with everything but the GBA section, which I feel I was pretty thorough on. Any advice on what to say about DVD/CD covers, or general feedback can be posted here.

wow, very well thought out, and well done topic. This will defftinely help with all the newcomers here who post the same threads asking where to get cases and how to fit Gameboy cases into DS game cases. The video was a great addition as well. Great work, and very nice contribution.

My one and only suggestion is you cut apart a DS case if you have one and post a picture so that people know how and what to cut off to make GB and GBC games fit if they feel the need to. I know snowcone wants to make a guide on that subject but you know as well as i do the man is swamped. That is assuming you have extra cases. if not, no worries, but it would deffinetly stop the many threads about the issue. (if you don't have any extras ill take a picture of one of mine after i mod it, just let me know, and i'll try and get you a picture as soon as i can.) Again, great work, and ill be the first to nominate this to be floated.

Thanks for the self esteem boost and good feedback. :) I'm ordering cases soon, and I could try modding one. However...

Though not the best, still a picture can be found there. When I [try to] do it, I'll take pics as I go.

Good job on the guide.
I just ordered my DS cases today since I am about done with the N64 games.
I will be looking at how to mod them for GB & GBC games. Although, none of my GB & GBC games have covers on the site and I don't have any boxes.  :(
