New SNES covers

But you have to know where I'm coming from. The screenshots are the same, the cover art (I admit the border around "CASTLEVANIA" is red, rather than purple) is the same, a moved logo and different text aren't completely different. I know I'm being a pain in the ass about nothing, it's just something I noticed. And when I said

I was stating that I didn't steal mine, that I made mine. Me saying an admin stole something is like fighting a cop in court over a speeding ticket, ya know? I'm not angry, I was a little scared.

There's only so much artwork out there to use, especially for certain games. Take The7k's Mega Man Legends covers, they use the same front art that SMMM's ancient ones used. Is it because he wanted to copy it? Nah, it's because those pieces of art happen to simply be the most suited for a custom.

Hah, I hear ya. And to be honest, I'd take Grumbleduke's over mine. I took the English portion of the PAL box and used that for the text. And I like-a-the portraits. Probably should've kept this all to maself. And I probably should have LOOKED at who made the cover (if it'd been a newbie, I'd be ranting to the high heavens). But if it had been Space Mega Force, hoo man, we would have problems. I spent like 6 or 7 hours making it SOMEWHAT presentable. You CANNOT find art for that game without a title and other wording accross it. MAJOR pain. Had to recreate all of those stupid areas covered by those stupid words **mumble-grumble** pain in the **mumble-grumble** ...

I know you want the issue to be dropped but I dont think TikTekTak meant that comment to discredit your work. More to build Grumbleduke up more by stating that doesnt have the need to because he has or obtains the artwork on his own. The covers you have made are very good, of great quality and a really good way to introduce yourself to the project. I know we would all like to see more covers from you soon :)
p.s. - in 4 more posts you wont be a newbie anymore anyway ;)

That's what the rolley eyes were for ;D. I have no hard feelings, just Joshing around. I tend to do that, sorry.
BTW, I got some really choice Dreamcast covers about ready to be uploaded. But that's for a different thread.
