Street Fighter II - Turbo Vertical NTSC-U

Unfortunately this one took a long time for me to make.  I had to completely retrace the SF2T logo and recreate the front artwork overall.  With the original cover the front logo stetched completely from left to right making it unuseable (when converting horizantal cover to vertical it requires you to take a little bit off the left and the right which you cant do if the logo is that big).

With a cover like Gradius III it takes ~30min but with this one it took ~1hr45min

Edit: more regions ...

Street Fighter II - Turbo Vertical NTSC-J

Well anyways as always, tell me what you think  ;D

Wow, already getting started? Thanks :)

But what's with the 2/22 shouldn't it read 2/27 or are you trying to cut it short :D

Again thanks a lot, I appreciate your effort! I won't touch any of the covers until you give me the go so mess with them until you're satisfied with the result.

Yeah, I had a little time and couldnt resist but i probably wont be really digging into the list for another 3 weeks.

I just misread and thought it was 22, i fixed it to 27.  I would like to knock out all ~40 but we will just have to see what i can find on the interweb.

I can't thank you enough for doing this!

EDIT:
Dante_Ali brought this site to my attention
http://npes.free.fr/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=31&func=select&id=57

They have 300dpi box scans for multiple consoles, the link above leading to the SNES category.
There's some stuff we don't have currently and as far as my "wishlist" is concerned they have scans of

Rock N Roll Racing

Super Probotector

Hmmm.... As they seem to even clean those scans and work with them we should maybe ask them for permission to use them......
2 + 3 = 23

I don't think we need permission. It's like with people providing raw scans on our site or scans/artwork found elsewhere on the net.
I'd say as long as you give credit to whoever provided the scans it should be alright. After all the scan is just the basis, you still have to put in some time and effort yourself to turn it into a cover. I mean you yourself know best what it takes to go from a box scan to the finished cover. As said before, the only thing one should really not forget when using their scans is to give proper credit to them for providing us with the scans. After all you are free to download it and ultimately their goal is the same as ours, to preserve the artwork. We just take it a little step further by creating a whole new box :)

Shenske,

The SF2Turbo NTSC looks fantastic!

I thought you might want to know that there is a slight typo on the back. At the end of the first paragraph, it says "...up a notch ad go TURBO!", should read "...up a notch and go TURBO!".

GREAT work!
