New SNES covers
segamer:
This is how I'd do it. It still looks blurry to me. I was looking at a scan of the Genesis version and it looks the same. So I guess that's just the way it is.

If you can get it looking better I'd love to know your methods/secrets!

I think "Filter -> Noise -> Despeckle" would be a good starting point.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that one out next time. :)
Segamer, mind if I ask how you removed a lot of the artifacting on yours? looks a lot cleaner :D

Early on when I had first joined the Cover Project. I'd heard a lot of complaints that I was over filtering my work and the assessment was correct. So, what I started doing is making a duplicate of the layer, filtering the top layer and then making the top layer about 50% transparent by changing the opacity. Sometimes I make the top layer bury, and than ad the filter and than make it transparent. I just fiddle with it until it looks good.

Segamer, thank you for the explanation. I am probably doing similar things to how you used to. I can't wait to experiment with this technique!
Also, did you want me to finish off this cover or did you want to?

Constructing these types of covers takes me too much time. It's all yours.
