Hi Karl, I'm not an expert at all, but I think increasing the contrast on the scanned elements would clean them a bit. See below (left side has contrast set to max).
Besides that it looks very nice. Hope this helps!

Hi, will sort out the logo today.
monjici, I did play with the contrast - already up quite a bit if you can believe it! I didn't take it higher as it seemed to be less accurate to the real cover.
I agree it does look better though, I'll re-post again soon ;)

Logo swopped over - I will learn to remember to do this one!
Contrast increased - looks darker than real cover - but does look better I think.
