I almost gave up too. I've not had to work with anything THAT faded. I mean, there's practically no yellow left to work with. And yeah, it wasn't quite flat against the platen glass when they scanned it. Only a rescan will fix that. But it's not too bad. If they want to rescan it I'd be happy to use that to make a new cover. Which would take no time at all now.
