New SNES covers

FYI: some of the other users may not like the custom "vertical style"
Some take pride in the original look, for me i'm impartial.

Your covers look really sharp and i like how they have a nice uniform look to them.  :)
As far as the ESRB Ratings go, you could probably use them for almost all covers, most were released after the ESRB was created.

for some game consoles i love a good custom cover, but for older systems i like the original look
(yes i do contradict myself with this statement  :P ).

please don't take this as critism, just thought i'd throw in my opinion.

Well, I realize many other people might like the original "horizontal look" for SNES game cases, but I'm primarily doing this for myself. I'm just sharing what I'm doing here, in case there might be others out there who share my sentiments.

My reason for wanting to have SNES cases vertical is more because of the way the UGCs are built. The horizontal style of the original SNES boxes works because, in my opinion, that's what they are... boxes. With boxes, there's no set up, down, left, or right. But with the UGCs, there does seem to be a definitive up, down, left, and right.

This is just my opinion, of course. I didn't mean to offend anyone that likes the original look of the SNES boxes. I, myself, like the look as well. I just, personally, don't like it for a case that opens vertically. Again, I meant no offense for those that like the original look. Quite honestly, it doesn't matter to me what covers other people choose to case their games with, however, it's nice to have some variety in choosing your cover, right? ;)

Anywho, thanks for the commentary on my covers. The uniform look was definitely something I was going for. As for the ESRB rating, none of the three games that I made covers to had an ESRB rating, which is why I still split them up into two. When and if I do get to a game that did have an ESRB rating, then I'll only do one version of the cover.

Again, thanks for the commentary. :)

Quality-wise your covers are very nice looking... They are custom so they can look like you want.... ;)

BUT I'm one of the rather traditional guys and love to keep everything as original as can be cover-looking-wise....

Anyways thanks for the contributions.... I'll just post one version if that's ok for you(it's a real small difference after all...)

thecpoc:

Hey, I have no problems if you're more traditional. I respect that. And I'm happy to contribute my covers to this place. A place that at one point I didn't think could possibly exist. :D

Thanks for the commentary. :)

Hero's Shade:

Those vertical SNES game covers look good, thecpoc. You should think about posting the template, if you can.
