Swamp/Fox:

--- Quote from: makeshiftknight on March 03, 2008, 11:19:37 PM ---I got Fireworks going again finally, so I did some more work on the template. Added guidelines for where the front picture should be, some logo's, the letters in the top right of the back, a new barcode with changeable numbers, and various other tweaks. Hope it's working ok for you guys.

Harrison:

I've got a question. Is there a set spine, or do people just do whatever spine they want to do?

I don't think we've ever established a spine standard.

Some, like TikTekTak, want the spines original, I had one that I've uploaded that matched the NES Spine, some have used MookyJooky's design.

I don't know. The question has come up before, but I don't think we ever came up with a consensus on what to use.

LJs NES spine is more or less the spine I prefer. It may be the current standard.

It looked like Harrisons Wanderers from Ys spine also mirrored this. I liked it as it was more uniform than my other SNES prints.

Now Makeshiftknight has posted a template, I do not think we have had one before for SNES.

MookyJooky had a template, but I couldn't find it anywhere. When I made mine, I wanted to make it so that if a box was in bad shape it could be re-created with the artwork, and maybe even save some time on extensive touch ups. Anyway, I do kind of like the SNES thing on the spine (the one that matches the NES covers), but there's a lot of covers already up that don't use it.
