I have been slowly working on creating covers and have a question. On most of my raw scans the edges in the box bends cause some of the cover to not be scanned. The best example is the 'Super Nintendo' logo on the bottom right of the front of the boxes. The bottom of the letters get cut off. How do you deal with this? I am able to resize everything and get it put together, but am at a loss on this. I see that on the finished covers the log is complete and there is actually some black/grey before the edge. Any input appreciated.

Thanks,
shark

I am able to scan the entire cover myself.. what I do afterwards is crop the graphics and text and past them Mooky's template. Got to do some cleaning and even some text replacement, but nothing too major.

I think if we can get a good mint condition of that logo as a stand alone image it would go a long way to making cleaner looking covers.

Is there any way someone could save the template as a jpeg? If I am looking at the right one, it is a .psd file, which I cannot open.

Thanks!

The reason the Template is a .PSD, is because it has several layers to it. .JPG can not do layers

Crap. OK, thanks for the info.
