I agree about the black bar. I think it's the last bit that needs tweaking. Its sort of oppressive looking considering how much you've let the artwork just completely fill the rest of the space.
I really think killing the bar and making the logos straight-up white would be damn near perfect. There just enough to identify that it's a SNES game, but not enough to interfere with the tidyness of the rest of he cover.
Whatever you do, as I said in your thread, nice evolution of the template through the many SMW revisions.

Well, that's certainly doable:
...And I'd be lying if I said it doesn't look better that way... but the bar is sort of the key to the standard I'm setting up (making UGC covers that match the retail DVD/BR/UMD covers of the last couple generations)
So the bar's staying, but the barless version is a nice alternative. Won't work for the Zelda cover, since I accounted for that space not having to be filled, but I'll try to include it as an option for future covers.
