Is Lagoon any good? I've seen it at quite a few pawn shops for a buck or two  :-\

Its a Zelda type action RPG. Not the greatest Action RPG out there, but definetly worth having in your collection. Especially for a measily buck or two! ;)

I'd say not so Zelda like, way less searching.

I'd say Soul Blazer is closer match, but easier.

But I like it, have completed it many times.

When you compare price frames and worthiness of the two games I'd say Lagoon isn't too bad.

Soul Blazer can be quite more expensive especially complete.

I've seen complete copies of Lagoon here in austria for 5 euros.

Really all I mean when I said Lagoon was similar to Zelda was that their both overhead action RPG's. I wasnt gonna get all technical with the comparison. ;) Anyway heres another cover. Had this one sitting on the back burner and completely forgot about it. Grumbleduke's vertical cover on the home page reminded me I needed to finish this so here it is:

I will now be actively searching for a copy of Lagoon. The last game that I tracked down after it was brought to my attention on these forums (and I believe it was by BadChad) was Dragon View.

Awesome Lagoon cover there, BadChad.

Yet another cover I can knock off my SNES list.

I always thought Joe & Mac were better but I too have very fond memories of playing Chuck Rock on my Amiga 500 :)

Nice cover!

Been working on a bunch of retail SNES covers, with quite a few more on the way. Obviously can't upload them all at the moment, but just wanted to show off some of the covers that are in the pipelines. Almost every single one of these was completely built from the ground up, so I'm pretty confident that there won't be anything to worry about in the quality department.  :)

Arkanoid: Doh It Again!

Axelay. One on the site was a little rough. Just went through and cleaned it up.

Cliffhanger

D-Force

Home Alone

Jim Powers: Lost Dimension 3D. Old upload of mine that needed some work.

Rise of the Robots

Super Bowling

Super Off-Road

The Hunt for Red October

The Ignition Factor

Wolfchild

They look nice as thumbs. Can't wait to check them all. ;D

By the way the Axelay cover was one of my first covers I ever made. ;) *sigh* Time flys by. That was more than 4 years ago. Actually I remember that this cover was quite a bitch because my box was completely fu**ed up. Wouldn't pass my own qual control nowadays for sure.
Did you put it in our nice US SNES template?
