New SNES covers
tiktektak:
Okay guys today I got ahold of sth on a fleamarket here in austria which I've hardly seen on ebay or anywhere. Hagane for the SNES in the PAL version with box (badly badly damaged). My luck ends here though because the manual is missing.
Will try and make a cover for it in the next few days. Could be a bit problematic though cause it is from a time when used game shops tended to plaster stickers all over the boxes here in austria. ::)
BadChad:
Over the years Ive become pretty good with removing stickers. All I can say is patients is a virtue. But then you always run into that one sticker thats not comming off without a fight no matter how careful and patient you are. Gotta love those! Hope its not too tedious to repair. :)
Joe & Mac 2 - Lost in the Tropics:
Did my best to fix the scan lines. Shouldnt be too bad...
tiktektak:
To be honest scanlines are not a K.O. criterium for me personally when it comes to checking quality.
Some scanners simply don't manage to produce scans without them. Mine does in 90 percent of the cases fortunately.
@ stickers:
What I learned over the years is that besides patience a hair dryer on it's lowest power and heat output can do wonders. One thing I absolutely hate though is those security stickers they sometimes used. Those which come of in one million small parts BUT they are built to do so!!!!! *ggggggrrrrrrr*
Just a quick preview how the front of the box looks:
Click for full glory. Only scanned at 150dpi for the preview. The only thing I'm happy about is that the big sticker is not in the middle of the artwork but mostly below. :P
BadChad:
Yeah the big one in the middle is your biggest concern. I guess the good thing is its not covering up the artwork too much so should the sticker prove to be a pain in the ass the art work should be ok. The 3 stickers in the corner look like they should come off fairly easy. Have fun! ;D

My friends used to work for gamestop when they used to throw those ugly stickers on the game sleeves. The trick is very slow and steady speed with a steady peeling "angle".
