so here what i've been working on today instead of writing my final paper for the semester.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/Ragnarok2103.retail.snes_kirrrbycopy.jpg

This cover wasn't too bad to do, but I don't think a single scan of the back of this cover exists on the internet anywhere. Someone was selling a sealed one on ebay about a year ago, and they had pictures of each side and the back, so i was able to do the back based on that. I also had the instruction manual so thats where the front image and some of the other images come from, but they still required a fair amount of cleanup. Everything is original, including the screenshots. so, let me know what you think.

Jup it looks really nice! :)

Awesome job on the Dream Land 3! Very well made indeed.  I do hope you get the chance to make a vertical conversion.  Cheers mate!

Would it be possible to get the Breath of Fire 2 vertical that's already on the site made into a horizontal case?

Edit, Um, I meant the other way around.  Horizontal case to match the vertical already on the site.

If you turn on your SNES and it doesnt start up. Im guessing they probably made it blue assuming back then people hooked up there SNES' with the AV caples, and the AV setting was usually just a plain blue screen. Cant say Ive ever seen a scambled screen on my SNES before tho. It either playes or it doesnt.

The 'base' is the first cover in the Super Mario World section. Judging by the back of the cover, this was an early submission, and probably wouldn't pass QC now. So I have doubts this one will. The text seems fine, but the screenshots aren't very good. I'd replace them, but I don't have any good enough, and can't be bothered running through an emulator to get some. If someone can link or upload some good quality screenshots, I'll update it, otherwise, grab it while you can I guess.

And here's the vertical one with the custom 'screenshots'.

Jup you are absolutely right. The screenshots are really blurry beyond repair.

Would be cool actually if someone would create a "proper" horizontal retail Super Mario World cover.

About the custom cover. The front is in my oppinion not high res enough. You have pixealtion everywhere so I suppose it wasn't at 300dpi or very small to begin with.
