8BitDo Arcade Stick questions

I just ordered 4 of these so I can play Turtles games with more genuine feel, and of course each stick needs different color buttons and stick.

My main two questions are which buttons fit best and can you just switch the ball on the stick or does one need to replace whole stick assembly.
