Just throwing this one out there.....
Club Nintendo Points (I'm saving for future, possibly better/cooler rewards down the road)
       - Saving so that the points don't expire
       - Wishing to save in a different case to know which hasnt been used

Do you mean the piece of paper w/ ~16 digit code that comes with the games?  ... Those expire after a while if you don't enter them in to nintendo's website

yea they do, but I think that he's saving them, like I do, for the next club nintendo "year" so that I can get platinum status every time.

Oh, that makes more sense. I generally buy enough nintendo games to get that every year.

Unfortunately for me the rewards nintendo gives you for the platinum status expire eventually. I had plenty of of points so i chose to get the doc louis's punch out download ... i wasn't aware that if you didnt download it right away it expires.  >:(  I didnt have my wii hooked up to the internet for a long time (i didnt have the need).

Speaking of Club Nintendo rewards ... ours sucks. Has anyone ever looked at the rewards the Japanese Club Nintendo members get? Its rediculous how much more options they have, not to mention how much better the rewards are in general :'(

Club Nintendo rewards is another area that Australia is at the bottom of the gaming food-chain.

Since it arrived here, we've been able to get:

For 1000 points, a Wii Remote Stand.
1300 points, a Mario Print Face Towel.
2500 points for the Game and Watch Collection.
1800 points for a DS game case and stylus set. [the Navy Blue one from the US site, not the other ones]
Or 2000 points for a DS game wallet.

I got the Game and Watch Collection, but since then have just been sitting on my points waiting for any new items to appear. We've had those 5 items I think since the launch in March last year. The good thing is, points don't expire in Australia. I assume because there's just nothing worth getting.

Yep. I agree.  The only thing I've gotten is Game and Watch Collection.  Oh and the Zelda posters, which are beautiful.  At the media summit they announced Game and Watch Collection 2 and Mario posters for NA club nintendo which is absolutely nothing compared to the japanese club nintendo...

I love it! Specially after the whole "Gamecube Memory Card" Covers!
Could you possibly create the same cover for the blue and red PS2 memory cards?

Hate to be a nuisance, but a grey PS1 cover would be awesome also!!!

Again, love the cover!

Sure, if you have those two colored memory card i'd be glad to. I'd need a scan of the memory cards though, if you could do that it would greatly increase your chances of getting the cover variation.

The ps2 card scan has much different info than the ps1 card would have. I wouldnt really be able to use the scan for PS1 cards. It would have to be custom + would take forever to retype all that back info  :'(

I'll add to that list and request a green PS2 memory card as well. Does anyone even own the packaging to PS1 memory cards anymore? All I have are a bunch of used GameStop brand ones (which I'm dreading the day they kick it, thats why I back up all my ps1 stuff on the spare PS2 memory card ;) )

yea they do, but I think that he's saving them, like I do, for the next club nintendo "year" so that I can get platinum status every time.

Here's the deal with Club Nintendo coins.

Register your game as soon as you buy it.  Seriously.  A.) You don't want to forget which games you've registered/haven't registered. B.) You don't want to lose it and C.) If you buy in the "release window" you get extra coins.

But you don't want to waste your Elite Coins?

Simple!  Go to the Club Nintendo website, log in and enter your registration code.  On the next screen, the Registration survey will pop up.  Simply click out of this (close the browser window, click another link, etc.).  The product is now registered and the survey shows up in your to-do list, but you haven't been awarded any coins.  Come next Club Nintendo Year, you can then go back and do the survey at your convenience - and you'll be awarded all the bonus coins you were due when you registered the title.

Heh... I have sooo many, possibly 6 New SMB Club Nintendo points.  5 I cannot use because 1 per account =D.  Oh the perks with working at a rental store

OCR? If I can find the red/blue cardboard insert, I'll scan it.
