While making all these fancy peripheral covers, someone should make my paddle controller cover... :)

  • ...and that's the bottom line
...and maybe a cover for a Dreamcast VMU in a DS case, euro DS case preferrably ;) You know, the ones with the bigger spine. As DS cases have pretty much the same size as PAl DC cases it fits nicely and looks good on a shelf :)

No rush though, this is not a formal request. More of a brainstorming.

That's not to say I wouldn't be pleasently surprised to see a Wii classic controller, Gamecube Hori digital controller (black) or Xbox360 Street Fighter IV Fight Pad (Ken Design) pop up here :D

I have scans for the wii classic controller :D (still not sure if it will fit though, i dont have one to test)

I don't have anything for the Street Fighter IV pads but i do have Street Fighter 20th Anniversary controllers and boxes (both Akuma) for the original xbox & ps2

Uploaded in the RAWs/GameCube directory, you'll find scans from 02/08 that include the Japanese Indigo Hori controller and the US Black Hori controller.  :)

Here is an idea ala WarioWare Twisted for the portables and such that are too wide for 1 UGC. I used 6 nuts and bolts instead of 4 to make up for the size difference of the case. Portable used for the pics is my FC Mobile II  (the deminsions of this portable nes are almost the exact same as the original gameboy) ;D

sure you over size the spine and then cut in half... might look weird.... but it could be done

Yeah ... with a lot of difficulty. I'm removed the clear plastic overlay from the two cases and am going to put a new larger clear sheet over it and reattach it with an iron.  The new sheet will span across the front, back and the extended spine.  I am still trying to find a suitable sheet for the new size case though (what i'm finding is too thick).

1st draft - doesn't look right to me - ideas??

would it be better without retaining the PS3 top bars?

I like it, deffinately keep the top bars. I would suggest adding the network logo though to the front and back of the top bar though considering SFIV was online capable and this is a controller specifically for the game & maybe centering the PS3 spine logo?  :)

updated - just adding the PSN logo made a big difference.

Also added capcom logo to the front, and reduced the size of the collectors edition banner:

edit - only problem is, i'm now doubtful that it will fit in the case anyway. haha.  ;D

Wow. That is sexy.

I think I'll be doing something similar for my PS2 SF 20th Anniversary controllers. I've got Ryu and Ken, as I thought it was only appropriate to have them as my P1 and P2 versus controllers.
