So I was going to make a cardboard case for my e-Reader. My initial plan was to copy the HeartGold cardboard case but make it thicker, but then I thought that I want to add foam on the inside to make it secure. Side loading wouldn't be the best, so then I went with a front opening box style. I'm using my Guitar Hero: On Tour box as a template, but I'm going to want to modify it to make it taller. I think that I am going to use cardstock since it is what I have. To make it a tad thicker, I was thinking to gluing two pieces together. While measuring it out, I've figured that I'm going to have to print it out on three 8.5 x 11 sheets and include tabs to glue all the sides together. As far as I can tell, we don't have any templates or boxes for the e-Reader done. I'm going to use sheep2001's raw e-Reader scans to complete all the sides of the box. Thoughts? |
