Hey All,

There are some cool game collection that some people have here and i thought that i would share some of mine....

Ok here is my 50" Full HD 1080P LCD TV...

On the left speaker which stands about 110cm high is my Full HD PC with HDMI out which i mostly use for imported Bluray movies which is region free. I also use the PC for streaming movies online and watching world wide tv channels...

On the 3 shelves below the tv you will see my PS3-Slim with 250GB HDD on the left and in the middle you will see my Nintendo Wii with the wireless keyboard next to it, i will be buying the new black wii console soon. On the right shelf you will see my Limited Edition Xbox360 Super Elite with 250GB HDD with Modern Warefare 2 Artwok all over it. You may have noticed there is another Xbox360 Elite just below the tv there which is not connected, I just put it there to show in the photo...

Now amongst all that stereo equipement is the very powerful Denon Receiver, Pioneer LaserDisc player, Denon Twin Tapedeck, Toshiba HD DVD player, Pioneer upscaling 1080P DVD player, Toshiba XD-E500 Upscaling 1080P dvd player with 3 picture enhancement levels, Beyonwiz twin HD tuner settop box with an internal 250GB HDD and on the very top there is 2x 1TB HDD external HDD which are both connected to my Settop box to store my recorded movies, music videos and DIVX movies etc. This settop box is awesome it does everything i want it to do from recording 2 different tv channels at the same time to cutting out the tv ads with the easy to use cut out tool with placing A-B where you want to cut out. It also upscales DIVX movies and anything else you throw at it..

Here is my 2 Metre wide Transformers Poster which sits above my tv:

Here is my Limited Editioin Child's Play Picture:

Here are my rare audio display signs which sits above the Transformers poster:

This is my very rare limited editon Batarang from the movie The Dark Knight:

Here is just a mix of other consoles and controllers etc.....

Here are 2x Sony PSP's with a couple of 8GB memory cards for storing you know what. 1 is Black and the other is Pink for the missus lol. As you can see i have a couple of backup batteries for the need of continuos play. The black PSP has Firmware 3.71 M33-3 and the pink PSP has Firmware 3.71 M33-4, which plays any emulator almost flawlessly, like NeoGeo, GBA, Snes, Megadrive etc:

Here are my 4x GBA consoles with the new brighter screen and with matching color carry cases, these are only used for the Zelda Four Swords game that plays on the Wii using a special GBA cable adaptor that plugs into the top of the GBA and into the Game Cube controller slots on the Wii, you use them as controllers and when you enter caves etc you then play on the GBA screens until you leave the caves which is pretty cool.....

Here are my Xbox 360 controllers etc. I will be getting the red controller soon..

Here are my Wii controllers etc, i will be getting the new pink controller and the new blue controller soon, as you may know i like multiple colors lol:

Here are my 4x Wii Steering wheel stands instead of holding the standard wheels in the air which will kill your arms after a few car races haha, these wheels are pretty cool, if you turn and let go of the wheel it will automatically centre itself like an arcade wheel. As you would have guessed these do have suction caps on the bottom to stick to various surfaces. Just put the wii controller in the centre and lock it in and your good to go.

Here are my Game Cube controllers with some rare colors and as you might be able to tell they are connected to cable extenders so you can play pretty much anywhere you want:

Here are my playstation controllers and a wireless PS3 controller. The PS controllers are connected to a USB adpator to plug into my PC:

Here are my 2 wireless controllers that i only use for my PC, i will get more later and get rid of the playstation controllers:

Just incase you wanted to see what the 2 different boxes for the XBOX360 Elites looks like:

Where's the old school stuff mang

Thanks for looking...

Well everything you see above are 100% bought originals and if i posted my non-originals and by non-originals i mean roms, you would be seeing some insane numbers you would be looking at thousands and thousands and thousands of games as i have every single game release including japanese games of most consoles and to be fair to this website I am not sure if it would be aloud to post them here etc and secondly they don't yet have printed covers which is what i am currently working on at the moment as we speak....

Hmmm..... No real game collector would collect ROMs.....

That's against everything a real collection stands for.....

I am true collector, yet I also collect roms but only of games that do not exist or re impossible to find.

I have started to consider of getting them reproduced, although here it would be as illegal as downloading roms.

Well I should try to get them from The States then, although it being freaking expensive.

As mentioned above, collecting roms is really against collecting video games.

The whole fun of collecting games is to work towards a complete and full collection of all the games you'd like to have in your collection.  I wanted two Wii games recently SOLELY for my collection, Disaster: Day of Crisis (EU) and Captain Rainbow (JAP).  I could have pirated them and made cases for them, but I went and bought each of them off ebay and play-asia (respectively).

there is no reason to pirate games unless you own the originals and in my opinion completely ruins the whole fun of collecting.

let alone making cases for roms...

/end rant.

I only use roms because of network play.  It is cool to play online the arcade simpsons or Tmnt with 3 other onliners or good old double dragon or multiplayer on rock n roll racing or even N64 mario Kkart . Just something that Nintendo should have added to their games. If they are going to re-sell these games again on VC even though most people have bought these before i think to show us so appreciation by throwing in some online play. which is the main reason i pretty much only use roms for.

I download roms, sure, plenty of them, and play online a lot too, but I never would consider myself "collecting" them or anything. It's just not the same, and really should never be considered part of your collection.

Aside from the fact that there's just something intangible about playing on the real hardware that no emulation, no matter how accurate, can emulate, I still don't find the emulation of n64/ps1/saturn era systems and beyond to be very satisfactory. Too many graphical errors, too much configuration required, etc. That's just me though...

Impressive for what you have I suppose, though personally I'm still not very interested in most newer consoles. I suppose I'm just far too busy still enjoying all that I missed last gen. I'll get these new consoles eventually, just not any time soon.
