Well .... he implied I live in Europe ..... patently untrue I might add  :)

So I got out my Austrian accent as opposed to my Australian accent ..... although I'd take the other one any day in preference to Aussie twang .... hehehe

Yeah, I know.... I was just trying to make a funny (You may not be old enough to know Bob & Doug McKenzie) and playing with TheValeman cause he is from New Zealand and since it is close to Australia, I said Austria, cause I was perpetuating the idea that Americans don't know geography.

With that said, I will retreat back into the hills of Texas with the other rednecks and wait for the government to come get me.
:D
It was all just a sad joke.....
(besides Austria, Australia - whats the difference? )  <--- again, this is just a joke, no offense intended

Hahahahahahaha .......

Don't worry you old bugga [Aussie slang] .... I got it loud and clear and was happy to carry it on  ;D

Maybe I need to retreat back to the Piha rock with my Meremere [ a greenstone club ] and wait it out too.

All kidding aside ... it's just a bit of friendly banter between wshbrngr and myself as he's lived in New Zealand too and knows our pacific humor. No offense intended to anyone at all .....

I live in Florida. I love it here, especially since I live in a small town. The only downside is that there's no highspeed Internet around here, which I really want for online gaming.

At least you can roll out of the door and watch a Shuttle/Delta launch. And maybe catch a piece or two when something falls off .....  :)

I remember seeing a video of a unmanned Delta rocket blowing up just off the pad. Man  .... what a bomb!!!

And no .... I'm not going anywhere near Challenger. I don't get off on seeing/talking about loss of life when people are trying to further science/knowledge for all mankind.

Been there, done that.... we moved from the city to the country almost 2 yrs ago. The cable modem was a tough giveup.
We finally got DSL available in our area last week...   ;D
(after 2 yrs of complaining to the phone company)

I was born in a part of Berlin, Germany which wasn't a part of Berlin in the time of the cold war and now is. Actually (since 2004) I live in Potsdam (land of Brandenburg) and also next to Berlin. By car it's about one hour to Brandenburg city:

Maybe this year I move to Dresden with a friend of mine, to run a RPG-shoppe. I look forward to move to Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil in 2008/09 for a couple of years.

I'm done complaining (along with the rest of the town).

It's their loss. They could have made it into a win-win situation, but I guess telephone companies will always be idiots. >:(
