i am looking for the older psOne template, with the silver/grey bar and tab, and the psOne logo. i didnt see it in the template section, if anyone could direct me to it or send one if there even is one it would be greatly appreciated.

Thats a modification Lumberjack made to the current PS1 template. I requested a link to his version of the tmplate but i think he forgot to provide a link. Unfortunately he is no longer making covers and his hard drive crashed so I'm unsure if there is still a template out there.  :(   I guess I could take a stab at it and add it to the current template myself.

i DLed gimp, and im currently making a very simple one for converting the current PS1 covers.... very simple, so its up to you weather or not you wanna make one too. thanks for offering though, if you do make one i will definatly use it!

i actually just DLed your other ps1 template, never realized how in depth they were, its very impressive. really make getting into this much less intimidating

Gimp can open the PSDs but it may not be powerful enough to handle all the layers used in the PS1 template. I would suggest downloading a trial version of photoshop if anything.

I'll do it, it shouldn't take more than 15min. Its just some color changes and a different logo, should be easy.

Thanks, (the PS1 template is mine) I always try to make the template as easy to use as possible with every option you will need to make your own covers.  Best of luck  :)

I made my old Silent Hill and Resident Evil sets in GIMP using shenske's psd files.

There are a few things that don't work I think and it looks like a jumbled mess because no layer folders, but it's more than usable.

I was considering one day perhaps trimming the files and stuff to make them into more manageable .xcf for GIMP users and stuff. (things like, for example, having different regions as their own template, things ilke ps1 horizontal and vertical as seperate templates, etc). If I ever did this, could we host them here?

@dejimus
The template is updated, it has both the gray vertical and horizantal styles.  :)

Umm i guess so, i can just put an alternate link for a toned down "gimp friendly" version of the template.
