Seems like this was in a limited console bundle released in 2005.

According to mobygames....

Wow, sometimes I wish the Wii sold as poorly as Gamecube. Wii has almost as many awesome games that would be great in an ultra aggressive budget line.

Plus, it would be great to actually be able to get a Wii at a decent price pre-owned. Most the people I find trying to sell a Wii, try to sell it for $150-300, while I'm looking to spend no more than $120.

Japan recently announced a budget line.

http://www.kotaku.com.au/2010/01/nintendo-reveals-wii-greatest-hits-line-in-japan/

They're re-releasing the games that are ranked highest on the Everyone's Nintendo Channel, minus the first-party titles.

First batch, due February 25, are:

428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Arc Rise Fantasia
Family Ski: World Ski & Snowboard
One Piece Unlimited Cruise: Episode 1 – Nami ni Yureru Hihou
Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk
Dragon Ball Z Sparking! Meteor

No idea if this will be heading to the West or not.

I doubt it. I actually respect Nintendo of Japan, as they actually take risks. They even help other companies, by publishing their games that take risks, like this one. Nintendo of America, on the other hand, only seems concerned with making money hand over fist.

Ha, so much for the wii being the "cheap" console.

yeah that's really annoying.
I still haven't bought Zelda TP and Metroid Prime 3 because I want them to drop at least below $30. I mean they've been out for what? 3, 4 years now?!
"Could this be... an omen?!"
