Here's a scan of the UK cover of Risen for the Xbox 360, if anyone's willing to clean it up and post it.

I am not a pro at PS, but even before getting into that, I think you scanned your images with the Moire Effect on.

Quote
...there are a couple important things to remember.
2) Descreen (sometimes called derasterize) if available*

If you scan with Descreen checked (so the Moire Effect is gone), it will cause less aggravation on others who are willing to clean up the scans.  Only mentioning now before you go power-scanning.

Again, I think I see the Moire Effect...

I used the same settings I did for A Boy and His Blob and Batman Arkham Asylum, with descreen checked. But yes, it does look like it has the moire effect. I'll re-scan after work and see if it's looking any better.

I don't even think my scanner has such an option. Usually, I just use Photoshop's "Reduce Noise" option - it seems to help a lot.

I just scanned in the Top Trumps - Doctor Who Wii cover, with descreen on and off.

Left is on, right is off.

Is the left scan still fine, or should I try to remove the moire effect more in Paint Shop Pro before I upload?

In my oppinion the can looks pretty good with descreen.

Further improvements, if neccessary, can be done by the cover artists.

I figure I'll just add the rest in this thread, rather than start new ones for each cover.

Here's Top Trumps Doctor Who for the Wii.

NES - Impossible Mission 2

This is the HES insert for Impossible Mission 2. The original case is about an inch or so taller than a DVD case, and about 3 dvd cases thick. I'm not sure if the artwork is the same as on the official releases outside Australia.
