It would be great if you also check spelling on custom covers.  I've printed 4 custom covers and every single one had spelling problems.

For folks that are putting so much time and energy into boxing their games, I think it would be great if there was a simple feedback system for covers (comments? thumbs up/thumbs down, checkbox for issues?) that way the community can police itself and scale with the community instead of putting the arduous task on the admins shoulders.

Spelling mistakes are annoying, and hence we have this topic.

And to avoid printing covers that have spelling mistakes it is always good to check/read the cover before printing... you know... ;)

And thank you for pointing the mistakes out.

I don't know if it is a mistake.  But there are a lot of SNES cover art that has been uploaded to the site that are Custom Vertical covers, but they are marked as Retail covers.
<-- If anything I have is checked as "Case/Box", I will scan it if you ask nicely... I'm pretty slow about getting things done though.  Laziness.

I'm not trying to be picky.  Frankly this doesn't bother me, but I do know how the admins like to have covers error-free.  I noticed the green custom Atari 2600 Pitfall! cover has a spelling error.  In the description, on the second line, it says "Forune" instead of Fortune.  Also "i'm" and "i'll" are not capitalized like they should be.  The silver and red cover does not have this issue.

Name:  Pitfall! (Atari 2600)
Link:  http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cover_id=6448
Problem:  Fortune is spelled wrong.  I'm and I'll are not capitalized.

Please verify this two covers, I'm on my phone and won't be with my laptop until Tuesday, can't download to compare. Verify if those are really for CGC (Shadowfox case), if so those where modify by me. If they are not for CGC Then they are not mine. Sorry for any inconvenience if this is a mistake by me

Breakthru Nes: it say that is for UGC and made by Lumberjack42. But if I'm not wrong this was made by me for CGC (Shadowfox case)

I didn't post those covers, so I'm not sure. I'll look
Into it tomorrow. It grows difficult when our members make adjustments to other people's work and re-submit the work. I'd be willing to bet that your spines were used on UGC versions of the same cover. It's my personal opinion that the original author should be given credit for slightly modded covers.

Absolutely.
Best would be if covers would have credit part where creator of original cover is named.

I've always loved the Pokemon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow DS covers that go well with the modern Pokemon games, however I believe the first two badges are switched order wise. The Cascade Badge (Water Dropplet) is the second gym in the game wheres the Bolder Badge (Grey Hexagon) is the first gym in the game. If Shenske has the raw Photoshop files somewhere could be a simple fix  ;)

I have check the covers right now and they where posted right. they are for UGC and those are the creators/ modificators  :P.

i Understand what both of you are saying, but in some cases it's not a simple spine change. For example Bayou Billy, i had to change background, spine, logos, seal of quality because all was part of a scan http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=20352.msg188419#msg188419 (i haven't upload to the site that one  :P ). But i understand, in those cases is your call on who gets credited for the modifications  ;D ;) and personally i will accept it

I've noticed that the Adventures of Dino Riki for NES is not the correct resolution, it' sset to 96dpi instead of 300, so when I went to print it's super zoomed in.

Also NES Starforce is 96dpi as well.
