Noticed the Splatterhouse 2 has been updated with my cover but the creators name is still filed under tiktektak! ;)

I read on some other topic that unless you do seriously better cover, meaning not just cleaning the excisting cover (or that just looks cleaned up original) the original creator still gets to keep the credit.

Jup that is right but badchads improvements were more than enough to warrant a change of name.

Thank you sir! If only we could reset the downlaod count... I kinda feel like I stole your downlaod count lol  :D

Haha, it's actually a glitch in the system where it doesnt count the numbers of downloads. Go ahead and try to download it ... It won't affect the count :)

I made this post independently, maybe i should have posted it here, i'll copy/paste:

Hi, i've been downloading some of these covers (which is an awesome idea) for some time. Anyways, some of them have still not been retouched, finished or edited.

In the case of retail vertical n64 it's all right, but still some covers seem to lack some color. banjo kazooie, cruisin' USA, diddy kong racing, DK 64, F Zero, paper mario star fox 64 and mario 64. I still haven't printed any of these, so maybe the color is not such an issue.

in snes retail vertical covers i have found some little flaws:

Castlevania IV: there are a lot of black marks in the background, like some imperfections were just covered with a black marker.

Megaman X: Still some marks of the scan show.

Megaman x3: Same problem, but less noticeable.

Street Fighter II turbo: the black marks on the background

 Street Fighter II: The same

Sunset riders: lots of white spots on the back cover (well, i don't know if the retail was like that)

Super GAMEBOY: mismatch in the colors in the background. (the black color)

 Super Metroid: background black color

Super punch out: needs a lot of fixing.

and that's all, sorry if i am being a little bit too picky checking these covers, besides those things you all have done a very nice work.

Oh God, don't dig up what was put to rest over on my Re-Scan of N64 Covers thread.  Personally, most to all horizontal N64 cases are no longer up to par with today's standards of the site.  I again would like to thank all of those who spent a crap load of money to scan the boxes, but from the 7-8 months that that thread has past, you must admit by now that the quality is not good.

I agree! I have gone through all the covers and have come up with this list of covers that have something wrong with them. There might be a few more items/covers I didn't catch...but who knows...

All-Star Baseball 2001 - N64 logo is cut off at the end
Asteroids 64 - "dark" N64 logo
Automobili Lamborghini - dirty N64 logo
Bass Hunter 64- bid ol' white sticker on back
Blast corps - marker on bar code
Chameleon twist - Red band letters are cut off
FIFA 64' Red band letters are cut off
Knockout Kings 2000 - Bar code is wornout/off looks horrible.
Mike Piazza's Strike Zone - the barcode has the word "PUT" from a marker.
NFL QB Club 2001 - Has TWO stickers on the cover; one on the front that says "NEW RELEASE!" and another yellow one on the back.
NHL 99 - Has a yellow stick on the front of the cover
Olympic Hockey 98 - Red band letters are cut off
Quake II - Does the NTSC spine have the Nintendo 64 on it and in red?
Ridge Racer 64 - Has a sticker on the back of the cover.
Shadow Man - The NTSC spine does not say nintendo 64 and is not black.
Super Bowling - Big ol' white sticker on the FRONT of the cover!
Transformers: Beast Wars - The bottom half of the red bar is grainy looks very bad.
Turok: Rage Wars - Is the NTSC spine really say nintendo 64 and black?
Waialae Country Club - On the spine the word Country the "C" is partly cut off.
WWF Attitude - Bar code is wornout/off looks horrible.
WWF War Zone - the barcode has the word "PUT" from a marker.

ShoothimNow, you are right about the N64 area of the site, we are almost there! We just need to polish it up and bust a move on to the Vertical covers!  ;)

Theoretically this post is not suppose to be in the "Point out mistakes to be fixed" as these are simply requests, (in my mind, this thread is to state is there is a typo or incorrect barcode number on say... my damned Adventures of Batman and Robin cover that I guess ill fess up to right now).

But to answer you, I just bought WWF War Zone, Automobili Lamborghini,
Cruisin' USA, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, F-Zero X, and StarFox 64 for $1.99 each complete in boxes at a salvation army.  Have not had time to scan them, and I am still waiting on Cone to fix the upload forum

For the record, Cone didn't state that, but I'm quoting his mind

The rear of Novastorm for 3do belongs to the Sega CD version (contains sega legal info). Please provide a corrected version so we can update it.

On the Game Boy, both TMNT fall of the foot clan & TMNT back from the sewers are listed as retail US covers.  Here in the U.S., they are Ninja turtles, not Hero turtles.  They are European scans listed as U.S.  Look at them closely.

You pointed that out in three different threads already. I understand your intentions but ... we get it  ::)

Both of the retail US covers would need replacements and you are very welcome to provide such a better version!

I'll see what this weekend has in store for me! I actually do have a good original of that one so it shouldn't be a problem if I can find the time. Would we be looking for it to say "Not for Resale" or not?
