So... my attempts at a Guitar Hero Guitar Grip failed - miserably.

I was playing with a new toy my awesome wife got me for Christmas and decided to give the Paddle Controller a shot.  It worked.  I'll upload pictures in the next day or so, but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in putting together a cover for it.  It fits in a double-wide DS case similar to Wario Ware Twisted (in fact, I used virtually the same method for making the case).  The RAW scans are uploading now, but, as we've mentioned before, my scans suck.

Not too picky on if the text is in Japanese or English or such.

Thanks gang!

(PS: Donated $25 to Child's Play this year for the excellent work done here with the covers I requested!)

As far as I know it works with Space Invaders Extreme, Arkanoid DS, and probably a few others. One of the advantages to having a flashcart is that you could probably patch a bunch of games to work with this (as of now Mariokart only runs you into a wall)

I believe, officially, Space Invaders Extreme, Space Invaders Extreme 2 and Arkanoid DS are the only three that work with it.  Dunno about unofficially... ;)

So, here's some pics of what I did here.  I basically stole the idea from the double-wide Wario Ware Twisted case.  Sanding down the edges of the two cases on the sides where they join, cutting a hole out of the center and bolting the two together.  One minor change is that I had to cut part of the DS game card slot out of the back case - the knob of the paddle controller hit it.  Then, I had to cut out a little more because I didn't like the way the case rubbed against the edges of the knob.  You can see in the last photo, the knob does - barely - cause the plastic to bulge out a bit...

Here's the front part of the case:

Here's the front part of the case with the paddle controller in it:

And the back-half of the case:

And the back cover, taken from an angle to show the bulging knob controller:

The pic makes it look worse than it is...

Just found out today (thanks Wikipedia!) that the paddle controller works with Space Bust-a-Move for the DS.  Guess I'll need to grab that too....
