Looks like I had two more in me for the night!

Four new covers for the list. Tonight I tackled Waialae Country Club Golf and the three games on this list by THQ.

Penny Racers: https://app.box.com/s/1evjiwjl5xzax9u2os4hk2w1m4hta8qz
Power Rangers Light Speed Rescue: https://app.box.com/s/kml8a2zy46cmulhg2n4c4e71kdpjcey5
Rugrats Scavenger Hunt: https://app.box.com/s/8enujwengh03btyws16lk98zc6t69gxp
Waialae: https://app.box.com/s/wvntj27eoc8zjl8fogerghgfrpd7qnc7

The Rugrats cover is not my best work, but I couldn't get the spine to work with me. Someone better than me can do something more pleasing, I'm sure.

For that matter, I know a few of my spines are... Lacking. If anyone feels like they can do better, you're probably right and should go ahead and do so.

Also, Arseen, if you feel that this thread is leaving too much out in the open, I'm fine with it being moved somewhere a little more secure. Though if you do that, please consider letting PinkSuiren have access, they're better than me at making covers.

To me the Rugrats spine looks OK, maybe I'd remove the THQ logo?

Topic can be out in the open.
I keep the master lists out from open so the cover sellers don't get too easy haul... ;)

My process for spines that are already green is to simply slide them into a centered place and hope that nothing looks out of place in the background. With Rugrats, if I hide the THQ logo, there's half of a face of a character on the other side, so I figured a THQ logo was better than half of a face. I have no idea how to shop the logo out competently.

I agree.

I would try copy/pasting few pieces from the hole brick above the logo.

I gave that a go, and it comes out looking obviously photo-shopped, if you get my meaning. It does not look clean. I don't have the artistic touch for the fine details. I can cut and paste things around and do the most basic of photoshop tasks, but anything that requires detailing comes out looking just terrible. I tried, but there is only so much I can do. That's why I set this thread up in the first place and offer to do the documentation and record keeping, it's my strong suit. Photoshop is definitely not.

In other news, I got all three of the NBA In the Zone covers done, wrapping up the Konami portion of this endeavour.

'98: https://app.box.com/s/z2m1pd709pl1q4ca4o9817ns2su2z5he
'99: https://app.box.com/s/8qn2864mnl0iowoz5lpkg6xpg9usvc5d
'00: https://app.box.com/s/2oz9ji1tm5i9dt0xauh0it1878iaq5en

For a change of pace, I gave all three the same spine background, so they'd stand out as a series.

Here is my quick edit out of Rugrats:

Should print OK, but if you look close you can see the edit (should not show in print).

It was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Copy/pasted pieces from another brick. Took 5 minutes. ;)

When I tried, it looked like I was playing with stickers. Yours looks so neat and tidy by contrast.

In other news, I started on the EA Games. Got six done:

FIFA '98: https://app.box.com/s/5f2bx6zjk1ryo0fjvc2zi6e9scr4cbqy
FIFA '99: https://app.box.com/s/d1vq3k3exsmzelxur6spdy5p4q2hz9vg
Golden Nugget: https://app.box.com/s/9zizc7wvydigvipfvn9c1dbpuoiiho59
Madden 2001: https://app.box.com/s/kjyxaj4awzs86noh27c7qcba7r5wkknx
Madden 2002: https://app.box.com/s/csgnq9xl0hxab886pxmnxn1mipoj6zpd
World Cup '98: https://app.box.com/s/bgh8i5decvakafkqq5fncnmhxkfpj64q

As with the "In the Zone" games, the FIFA series and the Madden series each share a spine design.

Three new covers for the offering tonight, covering Crave's uncovered games on the list.

Milo's Astro Lanes: https://app.box.com/s/ubx7ukn23arondss8uxqor0dhjcnsra4
Razor Freestyle Scooter: https://app.box.com/s/ucwqu8w4cudquth0lc516foiaxuoq7ns
Virtual Pool 64: https://app.box.com/s/xjar47eejdnsxvccx0ni4sfwvp0d8eyz

That cover art for Milo's Astro Lanes is amongst the worst I've seen for any game. I tried to use part of the front cover for the spine, but I couldn't get a single angle that didn't take in the lifeless eyes of one of the three characters. For that matter, what was the aesthetic they were going for? 50's greasers set in outer space? What am I even looking at? I even tried to get a screenshot, but it seems that no one has given one crap about this game since it released and there's not been a new screenshot since the old video game magazines had to cover it in 1998. So, enjoy a free-use shot of outer space for the spine. It's far better than anything that this game had to offer visually. I can't comment on the gameplay, maybe it's a decent game, but at the very least, it can't perform any worse than it looks.

Edit: I reached the character limit in editing the top post, so I had to cut the bonus fix-ups. Here's their entries again, with pertinent links.

Bonus Fix-Ups!

There were two covers that could both use some work. They're complete as NTSC verticals, but could use some sprucing up:

1. Road Rash 64 (Front cover is grainy, spine could be improved)
Existing Vertical Cover
Wiggy Cover
Retail Cover

2. Turok Rage Wars (Has black spine)
Existing Vertical Cover
Wiggy Cover
Retail Cover

Some could probably use a bit of work, as I made these quite a while back before I knew a few more photoshop tricks.
However these should nearly finish off your list minus The Powerpuff Girls as for some reason I missed that one.
I'll get that one done tomorrow if you like.

WOW!

Yeah, that looks like it will just about do it. The only one of those covers that has an issue is the Jeremy McGrath SuperCross, as it looks like the retail cover is layered over the vertical cover. Otherwise, it all passes my inspections.
