The N64 NTSC Vertical Cover Bounty Board

Attention cover creators! It's your ol' pal El Canuck here. Over the past week or more, I've been scouring these here boards trying to track down the red and green vertical N64 covers so that we can see what we have, what we lost, and what we need to create in order to complete the infamous N64 296. The results of my finding are as follows:

We currently have 231 out of 296 of the covers available in some capacity. That means that 65 are unavailable. Seven of those are covers that once did exist, but the link is now dead. The remaining 58 never had vertical covers made for them. However, not all hope is lost. Once upon a time, in the long, long ago times of 2014 to 2015, forum alumnus Wiggy, Pringlesman, and a few others formed a group that made vertical UGC covers with an all-over white template that they simply called the Wiggy covers, after the original creator of the style. Those Wiggy covers are made to nearly the same dimensions as the red/green verticals we've all come to know and love and Wiggy and co. completed their set years ago. With only a little effort, as per several of Wiggy's posts on the matter, the applicable assets of the Wiggy covers can be combined with the complete retail set and Shenske's handy template (which I will link below) to easily fit to the red/green vertical template.

I'll list the covers that are yet to be made here with links to both the Wiggy covers and the retail covers for easy access. As I'm all but useless with photoshopping tools, I leave the rest to you, the artists of the board. As the covers are made, I'll cross them off the list.

As someone who's admittedly terrible at visual arts, it may not be my place to judge, but I think they all look fantastic! Excellent work, PinkSuiren! I'll cross them all off the list shortly.

If I were to ask for any of the covers here to be made, my request would be for WCW Backstage Assault, and the two fix-ups at the bottom of the list. The WCW has had some requests, and it's a fairly common title, the other two seem like easy fixes.

I might have suggested WCW Backstage Assault because I was potentially winning an auction for it on eBay... And I did. So, consider that a full request for WCW Backstage Assault, if at all possible. If anyone has a Buy Me a Coffee or something similar, I'll gladly throw a few bucks into it.

Not too shabby.

Tip for the spine: First turn the image you use for the spine in to grayscale image then use tone adjust to turn it green scale. This removes the red and blue tones.
And if you are doing backs as well, but instead green tone adjust it to yellow tone.

Thank you for the tip. That fixed the issue I was having with Mia Hamm's Soccer 64 and Backstage Assault's spines.
